SchwentickFest © Thomas Schwentick

On the occasion of Prof. Thomas Schwentick's 60th birthday, the "SchwentickFest", a workshop organized by some of Prof. Schwentick's cooperation partners, will take place as a satellite workshop of the conference Computer Science Logic (CSL 2023) in Warsaw.

Research in Theoretical Computer Science does not take place in the hustle and bustle of large laboratories, but also not in ivory towers. Rather, the results, mathematical theorems and their proofs, usually emerge in interactive processes of ideas among a group of scientists. Problems are formulated, assertions are made, refuted, new solution methods are sought together - until the proof is correct. This close cooperative process can also take place over great distances. International invited speakers will report on their current scientific work.
