We congratulate Antonia van Ophuysen on being awarded the Soroptimist Prize.

Antonia van Ophuysen, who completed her Bachelor's thesis at Chair 1 in 2025, received the award for her outstanding study results and for her exceptional social commitment. As a student member of the Sustainability Commission, a speaker in the AStA, a member of the Senate and the Student Parliament, she has shaped TU Dortmund University's work in the field of sustainability. At the Department of Computer Science, she was active in establishing the lecture series on sustainability and encouraged the development of further courses on decarbonization, among many other activities. In addition, as a mentor in the minTU program, she helped young girls find their way into computer science. The award was presented during the scholarship ceremony.
